I designed “The Perfect Present Pillow” to give as a wedding gift for the daughter of good friends. After checking out her bridal registry at a couple of popular stores, I was able to get a sense of her style and favorite colors. I had the perfect yarn on hand to make a pillow for their new home.
ONE SIZE: Slightly larger than 14” x 14”.
SUPPLIES:
175 - 180 yards super bulky yarn
US 13 knitting needles
14” x 14” pillow form - inexpensive from a craft store
SUPER BULKY #6 WEIGHT YARN:
I used two colors for this pillow - Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in the color ‘Glacier’ for the front and Loops & Threads “Cozy Wool” in the color ‘Fleece’ for the back. The pattern will work with many super bulky yarns and may be knit all in one color or two colors.
SKILL LEVEL: Easy
